Bad Apple Cosmetics Nail Polishes

Bad Apple Cosmetics recently sent me some nail polishes and nail wraps to try out as you might know. Unfortunately me and nail wraps aren't best friends so I didn't feel like I could give them a true review so I gave them away in a recent giveaway! However the nail polishes are a different story and you all know I'm a sucker for anything metallic and sparkly!

They sent me 3 of the 3D nail polishes: Arlet*, Arkansas* and Arlington*. Please do not take me 100% on those names as the polishes look extremely similar in some lights, one of the nail polishes doesn't have a sticker with a name on and  they all look the same colour on the website.

Red Delicious*

The application of this nail polish was fine. I don't know about chipping etc as I used a glitter top coat over the top. It went on fine though, no problems, I quite like it.

 Arkansas

Arlington

I was not impressed by these nail polishes for a few reasons. They took about 2-3 coats to become opaque and this was due to the formula and consistency been terrible, even a night in the fridge didn't help. They were streaky, shown better by Arkansas. They chipped so easily as seen by the last polish. That was the day after I had painted them and I used my Sally Hansen Insta Dri Top Coat.

For Arlington, in the bottle its a gorgeous blue but it comes out green which was disappointing.

Overall I wasn't impressed by these polishes, except the red one. The '3D' ones aren't good. With the plain red colour it wasn't streaky and the formula was fine!

I'd recommend the red to a friend but not the 3D polishes.

I've heard so many good reviews about these so I'm disappointed that they didn't work for me. They cost £9.95 and I that's a pretty hefty price tag for a nail polish, for me anyway. I'll try these again and update you.

You can buy them here: badapplecosmetics.com

Thanks for reading,
