Her amazing jewelry collection will go up for auction by Bonham's on March 31 and April 1, 2015. The Lauren Bacall Collection includes over 30 pieces including designs by Tiffany, Chanel, and Cartier. The pieces shown above are all designed by Jean Schlumberger for Tiffany & Co. According to Bonham's, "The pieces offered are timeless, understated and classic in design and represent the sophistication and glamour of a true Hollywood legend."
These bracelets are a perfect example of this classic style. Designed for Tiffany & Co. by Jean Schlumberger, the 18 Karat rope work bracelets were often worn by Bacall on the same wrist. She was layering long before the rest of us! Bacall fans will have to pay a high price to own a bracelet worn by the actress, however, These have pre-sale estimate prices of $7,000 to $9,000 a piece!
This Tiffany necklace with dangling gold hearts (shown here with a gold pocket watch) is not only beautiful but holds a special message. Each heart has a letter and the hearts spell out the phrase, "To my own beautiful star from my proud director Ron." The necklace was a gift from Ron Field who directed Bacall in the Broadway play Applause.
