So what that Blue Ivy's birthday was in January?

Parents of multiple children, infants, heck — any kid — know it can take time to get around to posting photos of milestone celebrations.

Fans of Beyoncé will gratefully take what they can get. Queen Bey dropped dozens and dozens of photos recently on her website, including photos of Blue Ivy's rose gold birthday party, herself in ever-changing looks and more behind-the-scene celebrations.

She's been busy, she explained at the top of her website, "I gotta job baaaaby!"

Fan sites, like @BeyLegion, picked up the photos and shared them on social media.

Blue Ivy's 7th birthday party had a rose gold theme and her friends all wore matching, pale pink robes.

A catwalk appears part of the birthday celebration as Blue Ivy struts down one, barefoot amid rainbow ticker tape wearing sunglasses and cat ears.

The twins, Rumi and Sir, 2, joined their older sister for her celebration for a rare appearance in the spotlight

Last July, Beyoncé shared photos of the twins, shortly after they turned 1.

In these most recent photos, Beyoncé is seen hoisting up Sir and smiling down at Rumi, as she sits next to her.

But she didn't stop there. She also blessed us with one more cute photos of the twins. She shared this never-before-seen photo of last year's Halloween costume where she dressed as actress Lisa Bonet. She's holding a twin in each arm.

Beyoncé shared so many fabulous looks of herself, it's truly hard to pick just one. But the 2018 New Year's Eve ice queen photo celebration photos are straight fire.

If that's not enough Beyoncé for you, check out her website for more rare photos of the Queen and Jay-Z at Christmas parties, date night, friend's parties and more.

What We Know About Beyoncé's Twins, Rumi and Sir - Oprah Mag

Posted: 19 Jul 2019 12:00 AM PDT

Guys, we're getting spoiled because we've gotten to see Blue Ivy Carter a lot lately. As the daughter of the ultra-private power couple Beyoncé and Jay-Z, opportunities to see the 7-year-old are few and far in-between.

But thanks to the The Lion King remake (which Bey stars in) we've seen Blue Ivy on the red carpet and in a music video for the Homecoming star's new single "Spirit." But the Carter kids we haven't seen much of? Two-year-old twins Rumi and Sir Carter.

We shouldn't be surprised, as we've only started to "get to know" Blue Ivy in the last couple of years. But there have been a couple moments where we caught a glimpse of the precious pair and we are forever grateful. But as we wait with bated breath for Bey and Jay to show the babies off, we'll take a walk down memory lane and reminisce about the times we've seen (and heard about) Rumi and Sir.

February 2017: Beyoncé announced her pregnancy with that Instagram post.

In an unforgettable pregnancy announcement—that could only rival when Bey revealed she was pregnant with Blue Ivy at the 2011 MTV VMAS—the queen broke the internet when she revealed she was expecting twins in an ultra-stylized Instagram post. Adorned in a green veil and donning maroon and blue lingerie in-front of a bouquet of flowers, it was the most-liked post on the photo sharing site that year, and has gone on to be repeatedly replicated, but never duplicated.

"We would like to share our love and happiness," she wrote. "We have been blessed two times over. We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes. - The Carters.

Later that month, she dazzled audiences at Grammys with her first performance post-pregnancy announcement. Introduced by her mother, Tina Knowles, she sang a medley of two singles from her album, Lemonade: "Love Drought" and "Sandcastles." Catch the breathtaking moment above.

June 2017: The twins, Rumi and Sir Carter, were born.

In mid-June, People magazine confirmed through a source that Jay and Bey had welcomed their twins. The songstress' father, Mathew Knowles, made the news official with a celebratory tweet at the time. "They're here!" he wrote, alongside an image that said "Happy Birthday to the twins!"

Nearly a month later, the magazine obtained birth certificates confirming the babies' birthday and names. They were born on June 13, and the little girl's name was Rumi and the boy's was Sir.

"Rumi is our favorite poet, so it was for our daughter," Jay-Z said in an interview for his streaming service Tidal. "Sir was like, man, come out the gate. He carries himself like that. He just came out, like, Sir."

According to People, both names—"Rumi Carter" and "Sir Carter"—were given a U.S. trademark, just like their older sister Blue Ivy.

On July 14, Beyoncé shook Insta again by posting the first-ever photo of her newborns. The snap was similar to her maternity announcement, as she was surrounded by florals and wearing a dramatic, pastel-colored veil.

"Sir Carter and Rumi 1 month today. 🙏🏽❤️👨🏽👩🏽👧🏽👶🏾👶🏾" she wrote.

July 2017: Tina Knowles reveals how Blue Ivy was adapting to big sisterhood.

Though she was light on the details, Knowles gave a little bit of insight into how the new family of five was adjusting, calling it "a wonderful experience" when speaking with Entertainment Tonight. She then continued to give a fun tidbit about Blue Ivy's role as older sister.

"She's very proud and very excited," she said. "She's a good big sister, she really is. She cares for them a lot."

July 2018: We see the first official photos of the twins since their birth.

Despite sneaky paparazzi snapping pics of the babies in late 2017, Bey and Jay maintained the children's privacy until a year after they were born. On her website Beyonce.com, to the delight of fans everywhere, they finally revealed photos of the 13-month old Geminis.

The photos were taken while the family was on a vacation in Europe. In one, you see the Lion King star holding the two kids on her lap, with a happy looking Rumi on the right and a relaxed Sir on the left. In the other you see Jay holding Rumi's hand as the father-daughter duo gaze out at the water from a yacht deck. Final thoughts? They're absolutely adorable—as if we expected any less.

August 2018: Beyoncé writes in Vogue that she had an emergency C-section to give birth to the twins.

In a rare display of candor, for her Vogue September cover story, the A-lister penned a personal essay about the struggles associated with her second pregnancy (she opened up again in her Netflix documentary "Homecoming") causing her to be rushed to surgery. She wrote:

I was 218 pounds the day I gave birth to Rumi and Sir. I was swollen from toxemia and had been on bed rest for over a month. My health and my babies' health were in danger, so I had an emergency C-section. We spent many weeks in the NICU... I was in survival mode and did not grasp it all until months later.

She went on to explain that due to both the pregnancy and the surgery, she had to accept her new body by embracing her curves and self-love. And in a line that delighted the Beyhive she confessed, "...my little FUPA and I feel like we are meant to be."

December 2018: Beyoncé shares photos of Rumi and Sir in time for Christmas.

Just days before the holidays fans were blessed with yet another set of photos from Bey, again shared on her website. This time the pictures were from a family vacation to South Asia, according to E!

In one, the babies are sitting side-by-side on the shores of a beach, while in another Bey is holding Rumi who appears to be gripping a shell. The photos are beautiful, candid, and oh-so-sweet.

February 2019: Tina Knowles opens up about the Rumi and Sir's personalities.

Thanks to Ms. Tina, we were given another sweet tidbit about the twins when their grandmother opened up to Us Weekly.

"The girl is really just going to rule the world, and the boy is kind of laid back and chills like the dad," she said about their respective personalities. She even went on to sat that Blue Ivy was "the Queen B. The second Queen B."

We don't doubt it.
